Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Christina Delgado grew up spending most of her time in the kitchen. “The kitchen is where the best family stories were always told”, says Christina. Her love of food and cooking started at a young age. Her Colombian heritage plays a big part in her cooking style but she also loves to explore any and all Latin flavors that are so popular in her native Miami. In 2006, she created The Spicy Bean Catering and Dinner Service, which she currently owns and operates. The Spicy Bean was created when Christina realized how challenging it was to balance both work and her growing family’s busy schedules. The Dinner Service is available five days a week to busy professionals and families across South Florida. Offering affordable, convenient, delicious, healthy & reliable cuisine on a daily basis is the goal that Christina set out to achieve. Christina’s latest endeavor is to share her love of food with viewers far and wide. Christina en la Cocina is a Latin cuisine cooking show that aims to both educate and entertain audiences with delicious recipes and delightful anecdotes about the countries these scrumptious recipes originated from.
